Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about parking, departure, and airport buses

Q. How accurate is the live parking data?

AirParking parking data is synced with the official Incheon International Airport API approximately every 10 minutes. Because vehicles enter and exit continuously, there may be a slight discrepancy by the time you arrive — we recommend checking again just before you leave home.

Q. Can I use any departure gate, regardless of my airline?

Yes! At Incheon Airport T1, all six security gates (1–6) lead to the same airside duty-free area — they are all connected inside. So you can pick whichever gate AirParking shows as least congested, regardless of your airline's check-in counter location.

Q. How do multi-child families get the parking discount?

Families with 2 or more children (youngest under 15) qualify for a 50% parking fee discount. Register your vehicle plate number and family certificate on the official Incheon Airport parking website in advance, and the discount will be applied automatically at the exit — similar to Hi-Pass.

Q. Do I need to book airport bus seats in advance?

With travel demand surging, buses often fill up at the very first stop. We strongly recommend booking a reserved seat via the Tmoney GO or BusGo mobile apps, especially during peak seasons and morning rush hours.

Q. Why is T2 departure congestion data not shown?

Real-time queue data for Terminal 2 (T2) security gates is not currently provided through the public data API that AirParking uses. We will add T2 data as soon as it becomes available.

Q. Are power banks allowed in carry-on luggage?

Yes — power banks, e-cigarettes, and lighters must be carried in your hand luggage (not checked baggage) due to fire risk. Each power bank must be under 160 Wh. Remove them from your bag at security screening.
