A layover at Incheon doesn't have to mean hours of boredom. The airport is regularly ranked among the best in the world for transit facilities, and several free services make even a 6-hour layover enjoyable.
Luggage Storage During Transit
Staffed storage counters in both T1 and T2 (1F arrivals). Rates from ₩3,000/day for small items. For transit passengers who haven't cleared customs, storage is also available airside.
Transit Hotels
🛌 Darakhyu (T1 & T2, airside)
Time-slot capsule hotel. Sell by the hour (3h, 5h, 9h packages). Shower included. No immigration needed — accessible post-security. Book in advance during peak travel periods.
🏨 Airport Hotel (near T1)
A full-service hotel within the airport complex for longer layovers. Requires clearing immigration. Free shuttle between hotel and terminals.
Free Transit Tours (Korea Tourism)
✈️ Incheon Airport offers free guided tours for transit passengers. No visa required for short city tours (check if your nationality needs a transit visa).
🗺️ Half-day tours include Incheon old town, a traditional Korean village, or Songdo. Depart from the Korea Tourism Organization desk (1F arrivals, T1).
📋 Register at the desk with your onward boarding pass. Tours run several times daily.
